Saudi Arab..an Arab Islamic Kingdom..they are the TRUSTEE OF WHAT IS KNOWN AS HOUSE OF SAUD...that is the holly KABBA Shariff..in Mecaa..well what Mr Syed is hinting to is the role of Saudi's with Israel..this brings an interesting issue..alliance between Saudi's and Israeli's may not be not that well known . Here is an encounter with an Saudi PLC Engineer and me..we just had an discussion over pizza..we just got in to discussion where he was staying in Motel and I was the front desk clerk..one thing lead to another he wanted to get something to eat..i helped him order an Pizza..he offered me to share a slice or two with him..some where in conversation I told him though I am Buddhist, I knew of some one that earn quite a bit in income..doing same what he does PLC Programming..
Over the Pizza discussion got into..Arab/Israel and Saudi role..and etc..to my surprise he tells me he was an devout moslem and thru his work he has come across many people of Jewish faith and he finds them not very hostile and some what kind and well mannered..and etc..well this gets into some of mine core belief of Palestinian issue and many other, this in addition to some of my recent experience as two of my previous employer where Jews and some of my legal issue and etc..thus basically i told him, yes that is so as of my experience specially over this Jewish lawyer that represented me. and the bad feeling I have been left with that and etc..how the lawyers involved screwed me..
In the process of conversation their is few more things..we got into to my surprise he tells me..SAUDI ARAB is for all practical Purpose the 53 rd state of UNITED STATES..it employed many US citizens in their business and then their is US army stationed their and etc..an life is kind of like living in USA and many that is from USA that works their do not seem to mind some of the restrictive life style dictated by Islamic Code though their are special arrangement made for some of the US and other nationals on need basis..and etc.
I have kind of followed some of SAUDI issues from very early days in my life..such as Iranian hostage situation, Jimmy Carter rescue failed mission..then ARAB OIL Boycott and etc then the role of SAUDI's and ex Saudi Oil Minister ZAKI YAMANI and etc..now they may access some blame on me as I have even thought of OIL BOYCOTT my self..what ever you say that is also an form of Civil Disobedience..this has caused many trouble in USA.. and has left an anti ARAB sentiment in USA..well that existed for years and years and how US is biased towards Israel and etc..
Thus the role Saudis play is more of what is known as or should be considered sophisticated Arab Moderate..one of the things way even before I made some of my comments as mentioned above their is some issues left from Bangladesh Independence war..and the role of Saudis..I did not know then some how one of the influential Saudi tied individual is this Satbaria Kabira..and he has staked claim as my fathers well wisher as though him being moslem ..he is related to us..though we have little to not very contact with him..then thing is what ever he did is out of his own wish and kind of protecting what ever one say his some of Non Muslim relatives interest and he is some one claims to be my fathers friend..well we have many many friends, though we do not have any regular personnel contact with him or his family..he is an acquaintance we do not deny..
I have mentioned of this before..their is this issue of my father had produced two children from one of our neighbors wife..and my father was not very happy how it came out to be about..and it seems many understood what happened and what they where upto in that incidence..and thus the role of KABIRA..during the war when my father was working at custom..it is Zia and Bishuddhandad thru an relative who as of now should be very high ranking Bangladesh Navy Officer..told my father go and stop by at Hotel Dalim in Chittagong Andar Killa..so he did..their he found KABIRA..well they do know of each other..as he visited my father over the conversation brought up the issue of these two children of his out of next door female who where AGA KHANI..for all practical purpose it was an case of lets say MAN Can be raped by female and their friends and husband..well KABIRA took this issue very personally and so did many others one of whom is this GOON BABU whom Kabira also knew..

মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের দুই রাষ্ট্র ইসরায়েল ও সৌদি আরব পরস্পরের প্রতি খুব বেশি বন্ধুভাবাপন্ন ছিল না। কিন্তু ইতিহাস সাক্ষী, অভিন্ন স্বার্থ প্রবল শত্রুকেও জান-ই-দোস্তে পরিণত করে। ইতিহাসের এক অনিবার্য পরিণতিতে তাই ইসরায়েল ও সৌদি আরব এখন মৈত্রী গড়ার দ্বারপ্রান্তে।
ইহুদি রাষ্ট্র ইসরায়েল ও মুসলিম রাষ্ট্র সৌদি আরবের এই এক কাতারে এসে দাঁড়ানোর পেছনে সবচেয়ে কার্যকর ভূমিকা রাখছে সিরিয়ার রাজনৈতিক গোলযোগ।
যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের প্রেসিডেন্ট বারাক ওবামা সিরিয়ায় হামলা নিয়ে অনেক উচ্চবাচ্য করলেও আফগানিস্তান-ইরাকের অভিজ্ঞতা যুদ্ধপ্রিয় মার্কিন জেনারেলদের চকিত সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া থেকে বিরত রেখেছে। সিরিয়ায় হামলা চালালে তা মার্কিন স্বার্থের পক্ষে যাবে কি না, এ নিয়ে যাচাই-বাছাই করতে পার্লামেন্টের শরণাপন্ন হয়েছেন ওবামা। তাঁর এ সিদ্ধান্ত যে যথেষ্ট বিবেচনাপূর্ণ ও প্রেসিডেন্ট-সুলভ, তা নিয়ে তর্ক নেই কোনো মহলের। তবে যদি তিনি কংগ্রেসের সম্মতি না পান এবং ক্ষেপণাস্ত্রের আঘাতে আঘাতে সিরিয়াকে তুলাধুনা করতে না পারেন, তবে আর কেউ না হোক ইসরায়েল ও সৌদি আরব যারপরনাই নাখোশ হবে। এ নিয়েও পণ্ডিতমহলে কোনো বিতর্ক নেই।
এ রাষ্ট্র দুটি মধ্যপ্রাচ্যে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের দীর্ঘ দিনের পরীক্ষিত ও ঘনিষ্ঠ মিত্র। এদের মতামতের এক ধরনের গুরুত্ব যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের কাছে অবশ্যই আছে। গত কয়েক দশকে যুক্তরাষ্ট্র যখনই কোনো রাষ্ট্রের ওপরে হামলে পড়েছে, তখনি আর কেউ না হোক এ রাষ্ট্র দুটি বগল বাজিয়েছে। এর পেছনে ইসরায়েলের অস্ত্র বাণিজ্যের প্রসার আর সৌদি বাদশাহদের তখত জারি রাখার অভিপ্রায় শরতের আকাশের মতোই পরিষ্কার। কিন্তু এবার তাদের উদ্দেশ্য একই বিন্দুতে এসে লুটোপুটি খেতে চলেছে। সিরিয়ায় মার্কিন হামলা দেখে বিষম মজা পেতে দেশ দুটির সরকারেরা যেন তালি বাজাতে দুই হাত তুলে রেখেছে।
ইসরায়েল ও সৌদি আরব উভয়ই হোয়াইট হাউসের যুদ্ধংদেহী ভাব দেখে সিটি মারছে, তবে এক চোখ রেখেছে সিরিয়ার দিকে, আরেক চোখ চিরশত্রু ইরানের দিকে। তারা যেন আধুনিক যুগের গ্রিক দেবতা মার্শকে ডেকে বলছে, সিরিয়ায় কিছু বল্লম ছুড়ুন, কিছু ছুটে যাক ইরানের দিকে!
রয়টার্সের এক বিশেষ প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়েছে, সিরিয়াকে আক্রমণ করা থেকে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের আপাতত পিছিয়ে যাওয়ায় ইসরায়েল যে প্রতিক্রিয়া দেখাল, তাতে উদ্দেশ্য অনেক খোলাসা হয়ে গেছে। ইসরায়েলের কর্মকর্তারা বলছেন, ওবামা যে সমীহের দৃষ্টিতে দামেস্কের দিকে তাকালেন, তাতে তেহরানের পারমাণবিক অস্ত্র তৈরির তাকত বহুগুণ বেড়ে যাবে। কর্মকর্তারা আরও জানিয়েছেন, ওয়াশিংটন যদি দ্বিধান্বিত হয়, তবে তেল আবিব একাই তেহরানে হামলা চালাবে।
তবে ইসরায়েল বা সৌদি আরব কেউই খোলাখুলিভাবে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের প্রতি তাদের রোষ প্রকাশ করছে না। ইসরায়েলের প্রধানমন্ত্রী বেনজামিন নেতানিয়াহু গত রোববার প্রতিক্রিয়ায় বলেন, তাঁর রাষ্ট্র 'অবিচল ও আত্মনির্ভর'। সৌদি আরব রাগ পুষে পুরোনো কীর্তন গেয়েছে, সিরিয়ায় আসাদের 'বর্বরতা' ঠেকাতে 'আন্তর্জাতিক সম্প্রদায়কে' উদ্যোগ নিতে হবে।
রয়টার্স বলছে, সৌদি আরব ইসরায়েলের মতো ইরান আক্রমণের জন্য সামরিক দিক দিয়ে প্রস্তুত নয়, তবে এখনো তার চিরশত্রুকে বিলুপ্ত করে দিতে ওয়াশিংটনের ওপরে ভরসা রাখতে চায়। সৌদি আরবের ভয়, ইরানের এসব বাড়াবাড়ি যদি চলতেই থাকে, তবে অচিরেই আরব দুনিয়ায় সৌদিদের মাতব্বরি বন্ধ হয়ে যাবে। তাই আগাছা ছোট থাকতেই সেটিকে ছেটে দেওয়া ভালো।
গত বছর ওবামা ওয়াদা করেছিলেন, তিনি সব সময় ইসরায়েলিদের সঙ্গে থাকবেন। এখন নেতানিয়াহুই মার্কিনিদের আশ্বস্ত করছেন, তিনি তাদের সাহায্য ছাড়াই ইরানকে মিসমার করে দিতে সক্ষম।
'ইসরায়েল মুর্দাবাদ' ধুয়ো দেওয়া ইরানের বিরুদ্ধে পারমাণবিক অস্ত্র বানানোর অভিযোগ ইসরায়েল যেমন করছে, সৌদি আরবও তার সঙ্গে তাল দিতে ভুলছে না। ফলে ইরান যতই অভিযোগ ঝেড়ে ফেলতে চাক, ইসরায়েলি-সৌদি প্রশাসনের তাতে কোনো ক্ষান্তি নেই।
ঝানু প্রধানমন্ত্রী নেতানিয়াহু বলছেন, 'ইসরায়েলের জনতা ভালো করেই জানে, যেকোনো সম্ভাব্য পরিস্থিতির জন্য আমরা প্রস্তুত।...আর ইসরায়েলের জনতার আরও জেনে রাখা উচিত যে, আমাদের শত্রুরা আমাদের ক্ষমতা ও শক্তির স্বাদ পরখ করতে চায় না।'
ইরানের সঙ্গে সৌদি আরবের দ্বন্দ্ব ঐতিহাসিক। আরব-পারস্যের হাজার বছরের সংঘাত কেবল ভৌগোলিক বা অর্থনৈতিক নয়, তা অবশ্যই সাংস্কৃতিক, ধর্মীয় ও রাজনৈতিক ইস্যুকে কেন্দ্র করে। শিয়া ইরানকে শায়েস্তা করার সুন্নি সৌদি আরবের ইচ্ছা বহু পুরোনো। এ নিয়ে সৌদি রাজাদের খুব বেশি কথা বলতে দেখা যায় না, তবে নীরবে কাজ করার উদাহরণ কম নয়।
আল-আসাদ শিয়াদের পৃষ্ঠপোষকতা পাচ্ছেন, তাই সুন্নি সৌদি আরব তার প্রতিবেশী বাহরাইন, ইয়েমেন ও ইরাককে সঙ্গে নিয়ে জোট পাকাতে চাইছে।
যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ফাঁস হয়ে যাওয়া নথিপত্র থেকে জানা গেছে, সৌদি বাদশাহ আবদুল্লাহ ইরানের বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্থা নিতে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রকে বারবার অনুরোধ করেছে। একটি নথিতে সৌদি কূটনীতিক বাদশাহর দোহাই দিয়ে ওয়াশিংটনকে অনুরোধ করেছেন, 'সাপের মাথা কেটে ফেলতে।' তিনি কার্যত ইরানের পারমাণবিক শক্তি অর্জনকে ইঙ্গিত করেছেন।
যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের দ্বিধান্বিত পদক্ষেপের জবাবে সৌদি আরবের পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী গত রোববার কায়রোতে আরব লিগের বৈঠকে বলেছেন, 'শুধু কথা বাড়ালেই কাজ হবে না।' তিনি তাঁর ক্ষোভ ঢেকে রাখতে পারেননি।
ইসরায়েল ও সৌদি আরবের মানসিক সন্ধির আরও এক কারণ হলো আল-কায়েদা। এ উগ্রপন্থী দলটি ইহুদি রাষ্ট্রকে যেমন দুনিয়া থেকে মুছে ফেলতে চায়, তেমনি সৌদি রাজতন্ত্রকেও উত্খাত করতে দৃঢ় প্রতিজ্ঞ। তাই আল-কায়েদাকে খুব বেশি বাড়তে দিতে চায় না দুই রাষ্ট্রই।
সিরিয়ায় আসাদ সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে লড়ছে আল-কায়েদার অনুসারী আল-নুসরা। এ জোটটি এখনো শক্তিশালী নয়। যদি আসাদবিরোধী লড়াই দীর্ঘায়িত হয়, তবে অন্যান্য শক্তির চেয়ে নুসরা বেশি শক্তিশালী হয়ে যেতে পারে এবং কোনো এক সময় সিরিয়ার ক্ষমতা দখল করতে পারে। তাই ইসরায়েল ও সৌদি আরব চাইছে, যুক্তরাষ্ট্র বিলম্ব না করে আসাদকে উত্খাত করুক এবং এমন এক সরকারকে সেখানে বসাক যে আল নুসরার ঘাড় মটকাতে পারবে।
মিসরের সাম্প্রতিক ঘটনাও দেশ দুটির জন্য ভয়ের। মুসলিম ব্রাদারহুড নেতা মুরসি প্রেসিডেন্ট হওয়ার পর শিয়া তেহরানের সঙ্গে সুন্নি কায়রোর সখ্য দেখা গেছে। এতে ইসরায়েল যেমন ভয় পেয়েছে, সৌদি আরবও সুন্নি ভাইদের প্রতি আস্থা রাখতে পারেনি। তাই ইসলামপন্থী সরকারকে কেউই দেখতে চাইছে না।
ধর্মভিত্তিক রাজনীতির কারণেই হয়তো ইসরায়েল ও সৌদি আরব এখনই প্রকাশ্যে সন্ধি করতে পারবে না। তবে পরস্পরের প্রচ্ছন্ন মৈত্রী ক্রমে প্রকটিত হচ্ছে মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের ধূম্রজাল থেকে। হয়তো এক সময় জগত্ দেখবে, মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের পরম বন্ধু দুই রাষ্ট্র ইসরায়েল ও সৌদি আরব।
