I don't understand how you rate this Ambassador as the best Bangladeshi Ambassador to Washington.
How you have seen him as non-partisan person. Attending social events like 'Beishakhi Mela' and 'Pitha Utshob' as Chief guest doesn't mean that anyone one is acceptable to all Bangladeshis. As Ambassador he's the best representative of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Did any opposition activists were invited in any Embassy program during his tenure as Ambassador ? You won't see a single one. Their name was removed from the guest list since he became honorable Ambassadoir to USA. It's a shame for our Embassy that our most honorable Bangladeshi Dr. Mohammad Yunus wasn't invited at the Embassy while he was in town to receive the most honorable covilian awards of USA. No excuse for this failure. We are an unfortunate nation who don't klnow how to honor our own hero's. We prefer foreign hero's than our own hero's like Dr. Mohammad Yunus, Architect Fazlur Rahman and few others. We didn't honot World's best Architect Fazlur Rahman during his lifetime but USA did honor him by naming the street in front of famous Sears Tower(He was the Architect of this tallest tower at that time) as Fazlur Rahman Way. Just a reminder : after receiving the Noble Prize Dr. Yunus visted Washington,DC and a grand reception was given to him but this time no reception was organized by any organization, we just can blame ourselves. If any Indian received Congressional honor the first person is to congratuilate him/her could be Indian Prime Minister or President but unfortunately we don't see such reaction from our government as well as from our honorable Ambassdor.
In Bangla can just say " Rekhecho Bangali Kore Manush Koroni".

HE Akramul Qader is the "Best Ambassador of Bangladesh in USA" that I have seen in my 23 years here - I see him as a non-partisan person and attending/promoting almost all social activities here. Please keep our Honorable Ambassador beyond your politics as he is representing our motherland - not any party.
We have so many Bangladeshi Social Organization in USA - they could jointly organize a grand ceremony to honor - the best of the bests - the Golden Son of Bangladesh - our pride - Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
HE Akramul Qader is the "Best Ambassador of Bangladesh in USA" that I have seen in my 23 years here - I see him as a non-partisan person and attending/promoting almost all social activities here. Please keep our Honorable Ambassador beyond your politics as he is representing our motherland - not any party.
