ফেনী থেকে ফিরিয়ে দেয়া হয় ইমরানকেবৃহস্পতিবার, ১৪ মার্চ ২০১৩ফেনী প্রতিনিধি: ঢাকার গণজাগরণ মঞ্চের মুখপাত্র ডা. ইমরান এইচ সরকারকে ঢাকা থেকে চট্টগ্রাম যাওয়ার পথে ফেনী থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিয়েছে স্থানীয় প্রশাসন। চট্টগ্রামে অনাকাঙিক্ষত পরিস্থিতি এড়াতে প্রশাসনের পক্ষ থেকে এ উদ্যোগ নেয়া হয়। গতকাল চট্টগ্রামে গণজাগরণ মঞ্চের পূর্বনির্ধারিত সমাবেশ থাকলেও তা আগের দিন সন্ধ্যায় স্থগিত করা হয়। ওই সমাবেশের বিরোধিতা করে হরতাল আহ্বান করেছিল হেফাজতে ইসলাম। তাদের নেতাদের সঙ্গে আলোচনার জন্যই ইমরান একটি প্রতিনিধি দল নিয়ে চট্টগ্রাম যাচ্ছিলেন। বেলা আড়াইটার দিকে ফেনী সদরের ফতেহপুর এলাকা থেকে তাদের ফিরিয়ে দেয়া হয়। সূত্র জানায়, ডা. ইমরান এইচ সরকার তার গাড়িবহর নিয়ে ঢাকা থেকে চট্টগ্রাম যাচ্ছিলেন। ফেনী সদরের ফতেহপুর এলাকায় পৌঁছলে আইন-শৃঙ্খলা বাহিনীর লোকজন তার সঙ্গে কথা বলেন। পরে ফেনীর পুলিশ লাইনে কিছুক্ষণ অবস্থান করে আইন-শৃঙ্খলা বাহিনীর পরামর্শে ঢাকার উদ্দেশে ফেনী ত্যাগ করেন। সূত্র আরও জানায়, চট্টগ্রামে যাওয়ার পথে নাশকতার আশঙ্কায় তাকে ফেরত পাঠানো হয়েছে। ইমরান এইচ সরকারের গাড়িবহর ফেনী আসার বিষয়ে কিছু জানেন না বলে জানান ফেনী পুলিশ সুপার পরিতোষ ঘোষ। ফেনী র্যাব-৭ ক্যাম্পের কোম্পানি কমান্ডার মেজর রকিবুল ইসলাম এ বিষয়ে কিছু বলতে অপারগতা প্রকাশ করেন।
